Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Wales Open Day
On Friday, 22 July we held an open day at our new headquarter in Cardiff. Everyone was welcome to come to our office between 12 and 2 pm to take a look at our new office and to find out more about our work. We were pleased that Stephen Doughty who is the MP for the area where our headquarter is based and his father Barry joined the event. Barry Doughty has worked for the Boys’ and Girls’ Wales many years ago. After the over 40 attendees were welcomed by our Chief Executive Joff Carroll and our National Development Officer Grant Poiner, Stephen and Barry Doughty shared their memories of the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales. As part of the event, we also launched our new website which was created by our European volunteer Lioba during her 11 month placement at our headquarter. We would like to thank everyone who came to our office for this great open day!
