Grant Poiner

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer I am responsible for all the youth work projects and programmes taking place at BGC Wales, overseeing youth work staff and ensuring that the voice of our dedicated volunteers is heard at various meetings within the sector in Wales.

Apple Tang

Organisational Support & Finance Manager

My role covers managing the finance of all accounts and administrative work for the organisation, providing business support to all staff, managing and organising the Head Quarter to provide a standard working environment and adequate resources for staff and our work. Managing the operation of the IT System to ensure that we are working in a safer IT environment to Safeguard our data; overseeing the Communication Tasks to ensure information is correct and maintain our visibility to the outside world.

Kari Morgan

International Youth Worker

I am an International Youth Worker for BGC Wales. I look after our internationally linked and funded projects. BGC Wales has a long history of participating in and delivering a variety of international opportunities and projects. I am also one of the Sector Organising Body representatives for youth work at our international funder Taith. I look forward to contributing to and continuing this work.

Jack Jenner

Projects Co-ordinator

As Projects Co-ordinator at BGC Wales I support our Youth Work Manager and Finance Manager by co-ordinating various projects, including our Football World Cup project, National Grid Warm Banks project, and our Youth Forum. I enjoyed working closely with our affiliated clubs on the World Cup project and look forward to continuing this work going forward.

Dionne Ford

Senior Youth Worker

Hi, I am Dee, and I am really excited to have joined BGC Wales after working in the youth work sector for 21 years.
My role will involve meeting all the clubs in our network in Neath and Port Talbot and offering fantastic new inspiring opportunities and activities for young people.

Jonathan Price

Youth Work Manager

Working for BGC Wales has allowed me to provide support an opportunities to a wide variety of young people both locally and internationally. The future of youth work is always changing and developing and I'm very proud to be part of an organisation that embraces that change in order to advocate for the rights and issues that young people face.

Gayle Harris

Business Development Manager

I joined BGC Wales after working within the youth work sector for 25 years, most recently managing Dr Mz Carmarthen Youth Project. My role is to bring in funding to the organisation and provide support to clubs. I help our affiliated clubs with governance and organisational health checks, information, training, and funding opportunities based on their needs.

Ethan Richards

International Youth Worker

Hi I'm Ethan, and currently am working on the International projects here at BGC Wales. It is such an exciting role and I feel privileged to help give young people in Wales international opportunities. Alongside this I look forward to getting to know our BGC Wales network through club visits and delivering youth work sessions.

Elise Burgess

Wellbeing Youth Worker

Hi, my name is Elise Burgess. I am really excited to have joined the BGC team. My role is to work in partnership with the BGC and Blaenau Gwent Youth Service to continue to support and provide opportunities for the young people. I’m looking forward to meeting all the clubs and the young people involved with BGC and Blaenau Gwent Youth Service.

Andrew McKay

Youth Support Worker

Hi, I'm Andrew McKay. I'm delighted to take up this new initiative as a Youth Support Worker in partnership with Neath Port Talbot Council (NPT). I've been active in Youth Work for approximately 27 years. I believe I can bring both my Knowledge and Experiences to advance young people. Looking forward to this new opportunity to work in this arena and introduce Young People from the Neath Port Talbot area to the many opportunities that the BGC Wales offers.
