Youth Work Week 2016

This year's Youth Work Week was taking place from Thursday, 23 to Thursday, 30 June to celebrate the importance of youth work in Wales.

As part of the Youth Work Week a group of young volunteers went to the Temple of Peace in Cardiff on Monday, 27 June to help Wales for Peace to set up an exhibition about the Book of Remembrance. This book includes the names of all the Welsh soldiers who gave their lives in the First World War and was transcribed to make it accessible to the public. You can view the book here.

On Tuesday, 28 June we participated in the public National Showcase event which was organised at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff. During the event, visitors had the opportunity to listen to some young talented musicians and to visit market stalls from youth organisations all around Wales to find out more about their work.
