Setting up a club?

If you’re thinking about setting up a youth club in your local community, one of the first things you need to think about is if there is a need for it. What do young people in your community want, and what do they feel that they need? What do local people in your community think about this? To help you find out if there is a need for a youth club, we’re going to identify what youth work is, and what the purpose of a youth club is. You may find out much more by taking one of our E-Learning Modules.

Why Affiliate with BGCW?

Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Wales is a registered charity (1009142) and a member organisation of the Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services (CWVYS) which enables us to influence current policy. By affiliating with us, we will be able to provide a range of help and support to youth and sports clubs, and offer young people at your club to take part in various youth projects, residentials and more. Clubs leaders and volunteers will get the opportunity to undertake different training. To find out more please contact us or visit with our E-Learning site.

How to Affiliate with BGCW?

Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Wales affiliation fee is as little as £30 per year (January to December).  Your club will then be eligible to take part in all BGC Wales activities and take advantage of any opportunities on offer.

We look forward optimistically to things returning to normal in the very near future.  Please note that clubs who affiliated in 2020 have had their affiliation carried forward to cover them until December 2021.
